Sean is originally from New York but has lived in Atlanta and Charlotte, giving him a broad perspective on various markets. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Georgia College & State University and has a wealth of experience as a Sales Broker and Senior Account Executive at Siemens. At Siemens, Sean supported commercial real estate owners in their sustainability and decarbonization efforts, which laid the foundation for his transition into the clean energy sector. His deep knowledge of RECs and compliance solutions makes him a critical asset as AFS Commodities expands into New York. In his free time, Sean enjoys snowboarding, surfing, attending live music shows, and traveling to new places.
Chris, originally from Connecticut, now calls New York City home. With a background in Biology from the University of Connecticut and experience in the environmental nonprofit sector, Chris has always been driven by sustainability. His previous roles in sustainability-focused startups and as an energy broker for North America’s largest property management company have prepared him to lead our efforts in the RNG and LCFS spaces. Chris is passionate about finding innovative ways to help our clients meet their carbon reduction goals. When not working, he enjoys biking through the city, hanging out with his dog, and enjoying dinner with friends.
Martijn is based in Amsterdam and serves as a Director at AFS Commodities. With a strong background in managing biomethane across Europe, Martijn has extensive experience in green gas for heating, Guarantees of Origin, and Bio-CNG, making him a pivotal figure in the renewable energy space. Martijn also represents AFS in the Dutch Green Gas Council and the Dutch Green Power Council. His leadership is instrumental in guiding the company’s strategy on RNG and LCFS, ensuring that AFS remains a leader in sustainability and decarbonization efforts.
